We are now few weeks after our event, and it’s hard to imagine it without The Katy Moy Experience! They were absolutely perfect! If we have to re-organize an event in the future, we will definitively ask them to be a part of it! For those who are interesting in having a young, dynamic and very good jazz band for their wedding (or corporate event), just go with them! Katy is very quick to response to your initial request – and in general to all the following emails. Then, expect to have a “meeting” over the phone with her to discuss exactly how you envision your event. She’s very receptive and understandable on many aspects – song choice, sounds, atmosphere, energy,… We were lucky enough to have Katy stop by our venue with us a few weeks before our event to check the plugs, space and layout, and also plan the logistical flow of their arrival! Very professional attitude that you will greatly appreciate as it decreases your amount of stress that’s already high when while you’re organizing a wedding! 🙂 The day of your event, expect the Katy Moy Experience to be absolutely perfect! Voice, sound, music, energy,… Our guests were totally speechless! “How did you find them?!” We just did – like you! Online! – and we are absolutely happy! We hope it will be the same for you! 🙂

Katy is a star; her voice is like velvet. She is professional, responsive and went above and beyond when the caterer was late. Katy made helpful suggestions about moving our first dance and mother/son dance ahead of schedule to close the gap. We had a fantastic time working with The Katy Moy Experience. They were extremely talented, professional, courteous, and easy to work with. Katy is a gorgeous singer and we received so many amazing compliments from our friends and family. The band performed old standards from the 40s and 50s per our request and did a fantastic job! They let us rent their equipment to do an iPad playlist after they performed and also went above and beyond to accommodate us with microphones, extension cords, and other odds and ends. They learned our “song”—a very obscure, but lovely number, “A Sleepin’ Bee” and it was so beautiful. Overall, our experience with them was amazing!

Katy Moy and her band arrived on time, set up quickly, and played for three hours for our holiday party. They did not dominate the environment, but created festive and stylish atmosphere for our event. The medley of music was appropriate and Katy’s voice provided wonderful background for the vivid conversations during the party. At the end, many of our guests commented on the jazz band and asked them for contact information for potential follow ups. We would also like to have them again at some point soon.

Friday Night Jazz this week brings back keyboardist/singer Katy Moy for another engagement. Her first was back in February, just before Valentines Day, and she was definitely a hit! Katy will help distract us from tax return filing by performing this Friday evening in the New Space!
